This is a political post so move on if that would be a problem. Actually when I viewed the video I was moved by the power of the images combined with the music. As someone that has children attending a public school in the South I have noticed this part of our history tends to be glossed over or simply lost.
All those hours my children spent studying _______ history (trust me - I live in a "real "Southern state) seemed to include a complete list of the Confederate generals, the location of their houses and a blow-by-blow of every "atrocity" committed by the "those" Yankees during the War of Northern Aggression (they didn't actually call it that but the flavor remains) .
Somehow the Alabama church bombing of 1963 was overlooked in the junior high school curriculum.
So far it hasn't appeared in the high school curriculum either.
The last screen of this video is the main reason I am posting it.

*S* stories
The *s* stories are just that...*s* stories totally unrelated to each other (okay, okay...mostly unrelated).
The Sam/Tina stories involve F/F (female/female for those not up on the nomenclature) in a domestic discipline relationship.
Yes, the *s* word comes into play (I was surprised too).
I'll try to list them in chronological order with the first story listed on top. If I forget....yeah, well - I'm not perfect. I'll include which "chapter" it is at the beginning of each story so you can figure it out.
Sooo, if that is not your thing or offensive then it is definitely time to go...if not, then enjoy. If you aren't sure then you might consider taking a chance and checking 'em out...what have you got to lose ?

Vanilla stories
Here's some other little fictional works which are completely vanilla (see, I am multi-faceted).
For those of you that consider vanilla a flavoring agent in baking and some coffees or the runner-up to chocolate, you would be wrong (not about the runner-up thing silly).

the church bombings should be covered when the civil rights marches etc are covered. It would be more suited to political science than history probably but deserves a mention.
Unless you are talking state history, then yes in Alabama they should discuss it.
A tragedy yes, but historically significant prolly not.

{Check out, Spike Lee's, "Three Little Girls" ~~You can probably find it in the Library, or Blockbuster. [HBO FILMS/Documentary]..It's an excellent film about the Birmingham Church Bombing.]
